Yee Haw! Bring on Canadian Beef!

I love beef. Sirloin, Striploin, Rib Eye, New York, Prime Rib, and my all time favourite… slow-and-low smoked Brisket. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

When we are away camping in the summer, I love to throw steaks directly on a grill over our campfire. There is nothing like a a steak cooked over a campfire… nothing.

I have gotten quite good at cooking over fire, and grilling on my BBQ (both home and camp versions), but it took a lot of trial and error to learn. It also took me a while to figure out what cuts of meat are the most flavourful for me.

Canadian Beef wants to take the hard work out of this process.

Introducing “The Roundup” App

The folks at Canadian Beef created this awesome app to take the guess work out of buying and cooking different cuts of beef.

As you can see, this app is fantastic, and is an asset to any beef lover with a smartphone. I’m really looking forward to using this more in the coming months… you know… when I can go outside without a parka on to BBQ.
