Putting The Perk into Tetley!

Putting The Perk into Tetley!

Sharing is caring!

Last week, I received a package. I opened it up to find a box of orange pekoe goodness… except, it wasn’t normal tea. It was called Tetley Perk. As stated on the box, “All the natural goodness of tea with the caffeine of coffee”.

Now for anyone that knows me, I love tea. Steeped, chai, hot, cold… love it. But… it has to be convenient.

So I made myself a cup. I steeped it in my new steep mug for a few minutes. I sat at my desk to check my email, and took a sip. It was the same flavour as the Tetley tea I grew up with! Love it! I’ve always enjoyed tea, and have preferred it to coffee… but I’m not one to put it in a cute little tea cup!

“Tetley is as committed to innovation as it is to producing the finest quality teas,” says Kathy Grant-Munoz, Senior VP-Marketing and Sales. “We know that our consumers love to enjoy a delicious cup of Tetley tea throughout the day and that they appreciate all the health benefits tea has to offer. Our research shows that Canadians also like the caffeine they get from coffee and now they can get both with our new Tetley Perk. It’s an innovation sparked by a consumer need and for the moment – it’s only available here in Canada.”

We in the Great White North get it first! Take off, eh?

Coming in November to a Grocer Near You

Tetley Perk is packed in a 72 count box ($4.99) and will reach full distribution from coast-to-coast in November – just when Canadians need it most!

Disclaimer:
I was not paid to write this, nor was I asked to. I received the Tetley Perk from a PR Firm, of which I follow on twitter, and was first introduced to at Pod Camp earlier this year. This was done out of the goodness of their heart, as they knew I love tea (from a conversation we were having). I volunteered to blog about it. The opinions in this blog are my own.
