Nature’s Signature: Bringing Our Passion to New Communities

Nature’s Signature: Bringing Our Passion to New Communities

Sharing is caring!

Back in November 2013, when I announced I was going to live a healthier lifestyle, and begin my #NewBDK journey, I had the support of my friends and family. Many people reached out and offered words of encouragement, and even offered to work out with me at the gym.

I had posted this picture of me on Facebook.

When I look back at i now, I realize how heavy and out of shape I was.

That picture received a lot of engagement. A lot.

One of the comments kind of threw me though.

Sanjiv was the owner of Nature’s Source, a natural dispensary, specializing in health products and quality professional grade supplements. I had been designing print ads for Saniv for a number of years.

When I spoke with Sanjiv, I had asked me what made him offer to help.

“I get asked all the time to sponsor athletes. Weightlifters, football players, runners… all people in good shape. You are a regular Joe. A friend. I want to help you. Let me know what you need.”

I’m not going to lie… it brought me to tears. I knew that this was not going to be an easy journey.

I felt completely in debt to Sanjiv and his team. They were doing more for me than I could have ever imagined. I talked to his knowledgeable staff. They guided me and directed me to products that they knew would help me lose fat, build muscle, yet keep me healthy.

I helped take pictures at an autograph signing event at the Etobicoke store. I didn’t even ask who it was – I just showed up.

It was professional bodybuilder, and eight time Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman. This guy was monster! He signed a picture for me, and for my personal trainer Mike.

Nature’s Signature

Fast forward almost 2 years. It is the Fall of 2015. Sanjiv has been busy.

Nature’s Source has some big news.

When we opened our first store in 1998, I am not sure if I fully realized the possibilities that would be presented to us over the years. And to be honest, today is no exception. I have always believed that the future of one’s health and wellness would be most successful with an integrative approach. For the past 17 years, we have built Nature’s Source based on this belief. As a full service natural dispensary, we value evidence-based, high quality supplements; we hire professionals with educational backgrounds in homeopathic medicine, naturopathic medicine and other specialties; we partner with practitioners in each of our communities to help our clients reach their health goals and we work closely with many different organizations such as the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and Canadian Health Food Association to ensure that we stay current.

Today (September 27th, 2015), I am very excited to share with you that we have opened two new natural dispensaries: one in Liberty Village (Toronto) and one in Guelph. Our first two Nature’s Signature stores can be found in these communities inside the Metro grocery store (right next to the pharmacy). As we continue on our mission to support an integrative approach to health, we believe this partnership allows us to work with new teams of experts, continue to be a valuable resource for natural health products & quality supplements and help more people than ever successfully reach their health goals. We thank you for your on-going loyalty and support of our Nature’s Source stores and we look forward to seeing you soon in our Nature’s Signature stores.

In health,
Sanjiv Jagota
