Have a Very Merry Christmas, From Our Family to Yours!

Wow, what a year! Christmas 2020 is here!
Every year, I look forward to spending some relaxing and quality time with my family. Watching Lauren and her friends perform in the Christmas Eve Storytellers service at church. Hearing Wendy, Rachel, and Lauren sing in the choir at the family service. Then heading home to have dinner and give the girls their Christmas pyjamas, a family tradition we have had since the girls were born.
But it is a little different this year. There won’t be in-person services at church on Christmas Eve. Instead, we will be watching the virtual service that Wendy puts together with the help of the staff at our church. Different, but we will still be together, celebrating as a family.
Waking up on Christmas morning and seeing the looks on Rachel and Lauren’s faces as they open their presents. Eating Wendy’s freshly baked cinnamon rolls, while nursing a mug of Bailey’s with a hint of coffee, and keeping Storm busy with Christmas treats. The time spent with Wendy and the girls during the Christmas break will mean more than ever before.
