It’s March Break. We are all sick. Fresh Prince on Netflix it is! #StreamTeam

Yo Holmes, to Bel Air!
My girls love this show. They have been watching The Fresh Prince of Bel Air for a while now, but it always seems to fall in times when we are either out or there is something else on. Now with Netflix, we can watch it whenever we want.
As mentioned in an earlier post, it was one of my favourite shows in the 90s. The opening song is pretty catchy, and I get caught whistling the theme song every now and then.
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Theme Song
Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I’ll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air
In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool
And all shootin’ some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said ‘You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air’
I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought ‘Nah, forget it’ – ‘Yo, holmes to Bel Air’
I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie ‘Yo holmes smell ya later’
I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air
The Carlton Dance
This show is all about Will, but Carlton is a show stealer. “It’s Not Unusual” for the always-seeing-things-in-a-positive-light Carlton to bust out into the “Carlton Dance”, which is sure to put even the grumpiest of peeps into a a laughing frenzy.
But Carlton isn’t the only one who dances…
Netflix in bed? Heck yeah!
Well, it’s not exactly the way we envisioned spending our March Break. But with how cold it has been this winter, and the girls telling us that all of their friends have been sick over the past month or so, it was bound to happen.
Good thing we have Netflix in our room… so we can all watch Netflix from bed.
What are you doing for the March Break?
