Disclosure: My stay at Le Méridien Downtown Denver was covered by Visit Denver. All opinions are my own.
Whenever I am thinking of getting away from the daily grind, I look for fun places to visit, and places to stay with my family. On a recent trip to Colorado, I stayed at 6 hotels in 7 nights. The first stop on that trip was Le Méridien Downtown Denver, a Marriott property. This boutique hotel blends traditional European influence with a modern sense of style.
Le Méridien Downtown Denver
Located in the Central Business District, Le Méridien is close to so many of Denver’s popular attractions. Union Station, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, Civic Center Park, Colorado State Capitol, Denver Zoo, Coors Field (home to MLB’s Colorado Rockies of the MLB), and the Pepsi Center (home to NBA’s Denver Nuggets, NHL’s Colorado Avalanche, and NLL’s Colorado Mammoth) are all minutes away.
Checking In
Check in process was quick, as we had reservations. The folks at the front desk were both kind and courteous and got me on my way to my room within 5 minutes.
The lobby is very modern, with a warm and welcoming ambiance. From the beautiful light fixtures to the comfy furniture and decor, the lobby of Le Méridien Downtown Denver is a great place to meet up with and relax with friends.
The Rooms
The 272 guest rooms and suites are very inviting and have everything you will need for a short or extended stay in Denver.
The guest room I stayed in was quite nice, with a big comfortable bed, a big screen tv, and a shower with amazing water pressure.
I know – the water pressure may seem trivial to some. For me, if the showerhead is adjustable, and has strong water pressure, I’m one happy camper.
Speaking of the comfy beds, they had these cool directional reading lights at either side of the headboard.

I love Le Meridien hotels and will definitely check this one out if I’m ever in the area. Just curious, why was there a fee to use the in-room safe?
Not too sure. I didn’t use the safe while I was there. But safes are normally complimentary.
