Hurry Curry and Tacorrito introduce their New Dual-Concept Restaurant. #ad
15 Feb 2019
One of the toughest things about going to an ethnic restaurant, especially if you have not tried the food before, is choosing what to eat from a menu. They all sound so good, but most of the time, fail to give a description of what is in the dish. At all-you-can-eat restaurants, it’s the same thing… you see the food, put it on your plate, and hope for the best.
There is usually no one there to tell you what the dish is, let alone what is in it. Well, that ends here. Welcome to the new Hurry Curry and Tacorrito dual concept restaurant.
At Hurry Curry, you can have your curry with a little extra speed, and a little extra spice. You can enjoy a variety of set meals (meat and vegetarian) including curry bowls, thali (Indian-style bento box), freshly made naan, and desserts. And it’s not just traditional Indian food either. Snack on fun items like Masala Fries with a side of Masala Tea.
Indian dining is all about family style, so your party, whether 2 or 22, can order dishes and you can share. A great way to try many of their different dishes.
Wendy and I did that. She ordered the butter chicken with rice, and chana masala…
… and I ordered the coconut chicken curry with rice.
… with a side of garlic naan.
The food was aromatic, tasty, and much better than I expected.
There have been many burrito joints popping up all over Southern Ontario, but all seem to be missing something. A budget friendly menu. Now I know what you are going to say – there is major chain that offers budget friendly Mexican food… but is it really good for you? I’ll let you decide.
Tacorrito offers up freshly made, budget-friendly menu items, customized to your liking. The portions are quite generous, and their ware lots of toppings to choose from.
Remember I said the other burrito and taco places seem to be missing something? Freshly made Churros. But that is not all (which I will get to later).
Rachel had the Poutine…
… and Lauren had the Tacorrito Bowl…
Then they shared 2 soft tacos – chicken and beef…
and washed it down with Mango Jarritos…
And then we all shared some freshly made soft churros.
Hurry Curry and Tacorrito Dual Concept
And that right there is what everyone else is missing. Our family of four walked into the Hurry Curry and Tacorrito Dual Concept restaurant and ordered freshly made Indian AND Mexican food, and we were able to share, family style. We had a great meal, and wonderful conversation over the different dishes we were sharing.
