Dyson opened it’s first Canadian location of the Dyson Demo Store at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto on December 21, 2017. We had a sneak peak at the store a few days earlier, and it is fantastic!
So many experts on hand to answer any questions you may have about the products, to give you demonstrations, or for you to try out the products for yourself.
On hand for the launch event was Andrew Robinson (President of Dyson Canada)…
Jake Dyson (Dyson Inventor, Research & Development Director)…
and a special appearance by Jim Rowan (Dyson Global CEO) working the customization bar.
Inventor, and Research & Development Director, Jake Dyson welcomed everyone to the new Dyson Demo Store. He talked about his passion for lighting, Dyson’s technology, the new Demo Store concept, and the advantages to having their own stores.
“We’ve opened the Demo Store, and started this concept because we have so many technologies in our products, and it’s extremely difficult in third party retailers, to actually explain to consumers, whats inside the product, why they’re better, to talk about our digital motors, to talk about our air flow, our acoustics, our electronics, our sensors. And now, connected products and apps. So we’ve started Demo Stores to explain to consumers first hand everything about the products inside and out. And also allow consumers to actually use the products and understand this themselves.”
Jake adds, “We also don’t want to be alongside our competitors with inferior technology.”
Complimentary Blow Out!
Visitors to the Dyson Demo Store can not only use the products, but can also book a complimentary appointment with a Dyson Demo stylist to experience the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. What better way to test out the Dyson Supersonic than to actually have your hair washed, and a stylist drying your hair with it? Brilliant!
Experts are on hand to help you customize the V7 and V8 cord-free vacuums. You can choose from a range of wand colours, and tool accessories.
