If you are looking for a great meal in a laid-back atmosphere, then Dock Street Brewpub is the place to be. Located in an old West Philly firehouse, this solar-powered and women-owned brewpub is famous for their hand-tossed wood-fired pizzas.
Even though they are known for their pizzas, the burgers and apps are pretty awesome as well. Lots of vegetarian and vegan friendly options on the menu.
We ordered 4 pizzas. The Margherita was absolutely delicious!
My favorite was the sausage pizza. So good!
The Mellow Yellow is popular at Dock Street Brewpub. A brown mustard based pizza has a great taste!
Flammenkuche is truly a work of art!
Of course, you can’t come to Dock Street Brewpub and not try one of their craft beers. I highly recommend the NiceThings BlackBerry Cream Ale – a collaboration with West Philly-based hip-hop artist Chill Moody. Brewed with flaked corn and fermented cool to give it a nice smooth taste.
Trio Fries and More
There are lots of great appetizers to start you off:
