Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Most Important Cop Show… Ever.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
I first started watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine because one of my teachers put one of the episodes on for us for an assignment. It was season 3, episode 5. We had to write a persuasive paragraph about our favourite part of the episode. I enjoyed the episode, but I didn’t have a lot of context on the story, since it was the third season and there was no recap of the episodes before that.
My Mom introduced me to police shows like Chicago PD. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is like the other police shows, but they put a comedy spin on it. The humour can sometimes go over my head, but it is still really funny.
That day I went home, hopped onto Netflix and searched it up, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I clicked on it, and watched the first episode. I got really into it and kept watching episode after episode.
I was surprised when I found out that the lead character, Andy Samberg, who plays Jake Peralta, voiced Johnny in Hotel Transylvania, and “Baby” Brent McHale in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! My dad loves that Terry Crews (“Hale Caesar” of the Expendables movies) is in it as well.
After finishing my homework for the night, I’d hop onto Netflix and watch another episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I would watch 2 to 3 episodes a day. It was a really exciting show to watch. There were cliffhangers, romance, and lots of highs and lows.
I enjoyed all 4 seasons so much, and was really sad when I got to the end of season 4. Hopefully, season 5 comes out soon on Netflix.
