In a world where everyone is busy following celebrities and fashion trends, it isn’t easy to stand out from the crowd. A fashionable man sets himself apart by elevating his style with a sense of uniqueness that can’t be observed in others. To do that, you don’t need to change your entire wardrobe; just a few minor changes here and there can make for an entirely new look salvaged from your current wardrobe.

There are some simple tips and tricks to elevate your style above the average and the mundane.

1. New Sunglasses

Sunglasses are a somewhat overlooked piece of styling accessory across the globe other than regions where it’s very hot. But even if the weather doesn’t require it, pairing up a sunglass with your outfit can do wonders to compliment it. Sunglasses can make a casual outfit feel more sophisticated.

With summer approaching, now might be a good time to invest in a sleek pair of shades to protect your eyes as well as make a style statement. Gucci sunglasses for men add a classy touch and can take your outfit to the next level. Sunglasses are great staples to invest in because they will always come in handy.

2. Find the Right Fit

The clothes you wear can make or break your style statement. If you have a habit of wearing baggy clothing, you might want to make some adjustments to your wardrobe. The problem with baggy clothing is that, although they’re comfy, they can give off a less stylish appearance. They also make your frame stick out awkwardly, which is unappealing.

Change your baggy wardrobe and find clothes that fit well. When it comes to formal wear, go to a tailor for the best results. You can make a unique look by mixing and matching small visual details like making the collars of your shirt open-collared, roll-up sleeves, or cuff jeans to add a bit of visual interest.

3. Add Unique Details

Adding unique details to your outfit can go a long way to help you stand out from the crowd. If you have a knack for formal wear, ties alone can provide a lot of customization options. You can wear patterned ties, a stylish tie-pin, or bow ties to jazz up your suit game.

For casual outfits, opt for printed t-shirts, solid-colored t-shirts with no patterns or add a pop of color with your undershirt. Your mind only is the only limit to your style options. You can also opt for retro aesthetics, which is a slowly growing trend.

4. Add Accessories

Accessories are a very smart way to spice up your style statement—an aspect most men tend to forget when dressing up. A simple watch, woven bracelet, or a nice belt can go a long way to make your style unique. If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, opt for wearing bracelets, rings, or add a chain to the side of your jeans. Styling your beard and hair is also a good way to change your appearance to fit your outfit.

5. Layer

Layering can complement your accessories and physique and provide a more sophisticated sense of style. In the summer, a lightweight shirt or denim jacket at night can easily elevate your look without making you feel hot or uncomfortable. Just make sure you’re doing it properly to get the best results.

Layering can be done all year long but can be especially appealing during winter. Make sure to buy jackets, coats, and blazers that match with the lighter layers of clothing such as shirts, t-shirts, mufflers, etc.

6. Look for Inspiration

Last but not least, look for inspiration to elevate your style. You shouldn’t shy away from looking at magazines, websites, or the people around you for style inspiration. Looking at pictures of well-dressed icons like Mads Mikkelsen or Brad Pitt might spark a new, fun way to try out different trends. You don’t have to stick to one particular genre of style; try out new ones to shake things up.

Be the Best Version of Yourself

Having an elevated sense of style isn’t about showing off to other people. It’s about reflecting your mindset and determination to become the best version of yourself. Once your physical image aligns with your mental image, you will find it’s easier to be the person you envision.
